I am getting some pictures ready for a watercolour painting class on Saturday with my mum and I just created this one....hehehehe, should be fun to paint.
So this Saturday dad worked really hard, with a little bit of help from me, to get the attic space completed & ready for the coming cold. He is making it a cold space so that their won't be an ice damping problem ever again. But it looks so much better and more like it should be inside. I opened the door to take this picture and it was so cold in there I could almost use it as a second refrigerator - wow.
So little Madi has not been listening to her mommy. She had an itch one day on her head, seems normal enough....so she scratched it. But then she kept scratching it. Then we noticed it was red. Yep it was bleeding.
foot. Bad Madi. So mommy had to make a strange bandage out of a torn sheet and a tissue. She gave up trying to get it off of her head after a five minute battle. But she just looked so sad. As though she was saying, "Mommy - why?"
So this is my new friend. Next door got a new puppy and a new kitty. Haven't seen the older fluffy three legged dog since the puppy arrived. And I haven't seen the big fluffy kitty from next door either. So the neighbours obviously needed some new pets. I still wish they wouldn't just leave the kitties outside all day, but nothing I can do. But since the day was nice, I was able to clean and winterize my garden. I was outside for several hours, I then noticed I had a shadow. But I made a big mistake. I held this guy and gave him lots of love. Then when I had finished I went inside.....this is why it was a mistake - kitty tried to get into the house with me. I was able to keep the kitty outside, but all I could hear was the cries from my new friend.

Oh so many wood chips. This is one of the major things dad has been dealing with - getting rid of all of this stuff.
Dad brought all the pink stuff out of the attic and it was on my deck for a day and this was the view through the mudroom window.....so much pink.
This was how the the pink insulation got out of the attic so that mom and I could clean off most of the wood chips before dad took it right back up the way it came.
We blocked off this part of the deck. Pugly does love to pee on anything he can cock his little leg up so I didn't want to have to deal with telling dad that there was yellow on a bunch of the pink.
